Abstract

The microcomputer revolution is shifting access from the printed word in libraries to direct delivery of information to scholars and students. Using document delivery services and transmission makes accessing of information easier for library users. Discusses why document delivery is a better option over customized electronic document delivery system using PC and other computer attachments for transmitting information. Discusses ways of overcoming barriers for sending and receiving information among countries.
