Correlation dimension in heart rate variability

Abstract
Nonlinear dynamics and chaotic activity of heart rate variability were studied by computing the correlation dimension of the interbeat interval(IBI) signal. Fourteen subjects(seven normal controls and seven CFS patients) have been analyzed and compared. The comparison shows that CFS patients have a lower dimension than normal subjects.
