Abstract

Physical test results are presented to resolve existing disagreements in the literature concerning the collapse load of an L-shaped frame which fails through torsional buckling. Available computer solutions for this problem are compared with particular attention given to the symmetry of the geometric stiffness matrix. © 1993.
