Wavefront dividing interferometer with and without moving parts

Abstract
Two designs of a Michelson interferometer for use in Fourier transform spectroscopy are presented. One design employs wavefront division using two step mirrors. The other design uses the spatial superposition of amplitudes in the recombination process to form the interferogram.
