Abstract

Rapidly Oscillating Systems (ROS) have found wide applications in such areas as control of walking machines, simulation of biological and artificial neurons, control of semiconductor processes. etc. They possess many specific properties, especially those that relate to limiting phase planes depending on (controlled) parameters of the system. This paper illustrates some of these properties in simple examples of two-dimensional ROS.
