Abstract
Large amount of documents are being processed in today's office environment. The objective of TEXPROS (TEXt Processing System) is to provide a computerized environment for personal users to manipulate their documents. Folder organization, defined by the user, is used as the document filing model for capturing the user's domain knowledge about document organization. In order to support the interaction between the user and the system, a predicate-based representation of documents is proposed. The user input procedures are described to provide the user a step-by-step guidance for constructing a personal folder organization and specifying filing criteria.
