Abstract
A process based model for contaminant transport through slurry wall was developed. The model was applied to a Brownfield site contained by slurry walls. The flow towards and through the slurry wall by advection and diffusion was calculated. The concentrations at the boundary of the property were provided as input to CalTOX model and the risk due to contaminant was calculated. Risk was projected for next 30 years. This type of approach is useful for developers for selecting proper application with minimal risk at a Brownfield site.
