Abstract
In automotive, aerospace and general manufacturing, precision manufacturing and quality control/inspection, marking and labeling, welding, and many other industries, companies are putting lasers to work because of their continuously increasing and improving speed, accuracy/repeatability, programmability and flexibility. Furthermore, several companies offer ever improving cell control, process planning, programming, networking and automated material handling capabilities with their systems, making them easier to be integrated with the rest of the factory. Some solutions and machines/systems of modern laser applications are presented.
