Abstract
Membrane-reservoir controlled release systems are used for the delivery of a wide variety of therapeutic agents. In this study, the partition coefficient between the reservoir liquid and the pore liquid phases is exploited as an additional rate-controlling mechanism. Further, the applications of membrane-reservoir systems are extended to include delivery of microstructures such as liposomes.
