Abstract

As the economy moves from an industrial base to an information base, technical communicators must be prepared to undertake complex analyses of client needs and expectations as well as an organization's overall communication effectiveness. Questions that may lead to a dynamic discussion of changing how and what to be taught for the next century are presented.
