Vibration analysis of plates with curvilinear quadrilateral planforms by DQM using blending functions

Abstract
An improved methodology for use with the differential quadrature method, based on the use of blending functions for mapping is introduced. The methodology is validated for the case of free vibration of sectoral plates with two different sets of boundary conditions.
