Abstract
One of the more difficult topics to understand by students in a junior level circuits analysis course is Fourier analysis. To visually reinforce the basic ideas in this area, various software application packages were used. This paper describes how two widely used software applications, Mathcad and PSpice, were incorporated into this course. Specific examples that were used for both class lectures and homework assignments will be demonstrated, as well examples demonstrating a visual relationship between time and frequency representation of signals.
