Contact line instabilities of thin liquid films

Abstract
The flow of a thin film of a completely wetting fluid down an inclined plane was computed. In particular, the partial differential equation (PDE) which governs the fluid motion was numerically solved. Results allow for new insight into the nature of the instability and to the shape of the emerging patterns.
