Abstract

A project based on surgical robotics integrating mechanical, electrical and computer technologies with issues in medical practice was designed. The design activities include a common exposure to computer aided design for all students. Simulating surgical robotics is a complex design project which is made possible with the use of LEGO Mindstorms 2.0.
