Composite QAM sequences with low PMEPR

Abstract
An upper bound for the peak-to-mean envelope power ratio (PMEPR) of composite quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) sequences in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems was computed. The QAM sequence was constructed by linear weighted and shifted sum of quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) sequences. Construction of Golay sequences with low PMEPR based on RM codes was introduced for codewords of length 32 or less.
