Abstract
The method to estimate the low cutoff energy of non-thermal electrons in solar microwave and hard X-ray bursts is discussed in this paper. At first, for a given radiation mechanism, the ratio between two frequency (or energy) channels is calculated with different value of the cutoff to fit the observational data. Secondly, the cross point of the spectral profiles at different time for a given burst may provide the information of the low or high cutoff energy of non-thermal electrons. Two events on June 3 and 10, 2000 are studied with data of OVSA and YOHKOH.
