Abstract
A novel hybrid plasmonic waveguide based on a triangular metal wedge is proposed. The structure could achieve ultra-deep-subwavelength mode confinement with low-loss, while its mode properties are still quite tolerant to fabrication errors. © 2011 Optical Society of America.
